Cattle Industry Development Fund and BC’s Beef Cattle Industry Development Fund. Matching funds for industry wide projects to promote the cattle industry
- BC Healthy Communities Seed Grant Program
Groups can apply for up to $2500 to support activities and processes that improve community health and well being. For more information, contact BCAC at 1-888-356-0892.
- BC Ministry of Agriculture Industry Development Trust Funds
Available for projects that help industry sectors to lead, manage and finance their own development, and to establish partnerships with other parties who share their development goals
- Beef Cattle Research Council
Funding is available for projects that address these priority areas: Ruminant: Human Interface, enhancing consumer confidence in beef, improving profit margins for those in primary production sectors, improving knowledge of food borne illnesses. Projects with at least 50% leveraged support are preferred.
- Beef Information Centre
Funding for marketing, culinary, information service or product development initiatives to expand the use of Canadian beef under thirty months (UTM) or over thirty months (OTM) of age.

- Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative
$10 million program to help Canadian agricultural producers develop well documented business proposals, and undertake feasibility or other studies to support the creation and expansion of the biofuel production capacity. Projects can receive up to 75% funding, to a maximum of $300,000. Letters must be submitted by September 29 and applications for eligible projects will be due October 27.

- Canadian Integrated Traceability Initiative(CITI)
$1.7 million from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) for pilot projects to develop integrated approaches to traceability systems in the livestock and meat sector. AAFC will provide up to 50 percent funding, to a maximum of $150,000 per project. Companies, industry organizations or technical/research groups can apply.
